Sunday Gravy Rigatoni the house classic
Slow-simmered tomato sauce with sausage, pork rib, and meatball, ladled over ridged rigatoni that holds every drop. This is the recipe the whole place is built on.
Family Italian Kitchen · Metro Detroit
Sunday sauce, every day.
Fresh pasta rolled every morning, red sauce that has been simmering since before you woke up, and a table that always has room for one more. Come hungry. Leave family.

our story
Rosa learned the sauce standing on a wooden stool at her mother's stove. Her daughter learned it the same way, in a kitchen outside Detroit. Now her grandkids run the pass, and the recipe has never been written down, because it has never needed to be. It lives in the hands.
The sauce hasn't changed. Neither has the welcome.
the table
A family kitchen is more than what's on the plate. It's where you sit, who you're with, and how long nobody wants to leave.
Twelve chairs down the middle of the room for birthdays, graduations, and Sunday afternoons that turn into Sunday evenings. Platters land in the center. Elbows welcome.
The quiet one under the lamp, worn soft in exactly the right places. First dates, anniversaries, and one regular who has read his paper there every morning for years.
Two stools at the pass where you can watch the pasta get rolled and the pans catch fire on purpose. Kids get flour on their noses. So do some adults.
